I’m energised by research that matters. By complex questions with real-world relevance. Within the DigAble project, I focus on phase three: synthesising insights, exploring (pre)conceptions among policy makers, and co-designing meaningful policies around digital transformation. It’s this combination of analysis and creativity that I find especially fulfilling.
What motivates me? Seeing the impact of my work. During a research project in Norway, I worked with a team to explore how children with intellectual disabilities can participate in organised sports. It was my first real experience in academia and it clicked. I realised how much I enjoy research that’s innovative, practical and makes a difference. As long as I get to keep learning and add value, I’m in the right place.
